Some clothes with your coffee?

A café that sells jeans? You bet!

If you have some time to spare in central Cardiff, you should really check out Coffee Barker. This unique little gem is a first rate coffee shop with a very trendy clothing boutique called Barker Clothes rolled into one! Coffee and fashion? It’s irresistible!

 Coffee Barker is located in the Castle Arcade in Cardiff city centre. It is a heaven for shoppers as they can relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or an iced tea while shopping for some very trendy and well-priced clothes.

We totally understand that you might not be a big coffee fan, but what you get here is a very cozy place, hospitable staff and a delicious food menu with reasonable prices. Coffee Barker is a great place to go with your friends to enjoy their hot or cold drinks. We personally admire and absolutely enjoy their caramel latte with a piece of feather light Victorian cake! Scrumptious!

There are also plenty of other options for those who are hungry, with a wide range of sandwiches on offer which sound and look simply mouth-watering. Their breakfast options also look amazing and we were particularly impressed by the duck scrambled eggs on offer.

From a look at their menu, we are pretty certain that you cannot help but fall in love with one of their dishes. It is not only the food, but also the quiet atmosphere that added to our experience. The place is not really that big, but has recently been expanded to be cosier. We really liked the cute Welsh cushions on the leather couches, the displayed antiques and the colourful ultra-modern cash desk, with a variety of sweet displays – cakes and muffins kept in different jars and boxes, highly appealing to sweet tooths like us!

One Facebook fan describes Coffee Barker as the very same café that All Saints would open and we agree! This seriously cool hangout has been around since 1970 and has a retro trendiness about that is definitely worth checking out…
